It's a little chilly here, as you can tell by my pose. How queer am I to post a picture of myself in my pajamas? Here, I'll post Lori, too.

I'm writing from the. most. amazing. house in Santa Fe. My friend Joan has exquisite taste. Holy crap, this is my dream house.
This is the bedroom Lori and I stayed in last night.

So beautiful!
We pulled into town around 8 o'clock last night, so we haven't had a chance to explore yet. Joan says we can stay here as long as we want. She may be sorry she said that.
Yesterday we drove a grand total of about 200 miles, from Gallup to Santa Fe. Whereas Tuesday was our "stop at every biker place" day, yesterday we had the casino version of a pub crawl, hitting five Native American casinos on our way here. I lost five dollars, and Lori came out ahead an even hundred.

The Route 66 Casino outside of Albuquerque was pretty cool. Here's Lori after the Indians shot her with a giant arrow when she tried to leave with her winnings.

The funniest thing is, we are 50-year-old women pulling this stunt. The second funniest thing is a man stopped his car and asked if she was all right. There's a question...

Does your trip include a stop at the Betty Ford Clinic? he he
That picture of Lori and the arrow is awesome. What a great travel partner!!
I'd stick with Lori, she seems to win a lot....love the house too btw, especially the bedroom color. COOL fireplace!
...it looks like you are both having a blast on this trip!! I am still so jealous....
I love the arrow picture and while I don't think I could do that (only because I couldn't get back up)it sure makes me laugh.
Cassie (Julie's friend)
You look cute in pink...the house and yard is awesome and Lori is totally my kinda woman! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that pic of her and the arrow!!! Classic!
I am so happy that you two are having the most awesome time! I just wish I could be there with you. Thanks for the (almost) daily calls to let me know how you're doing and what I'm missing! Love you both.
I can tell you are having so much fun!! Did I say that before!!??
Okay I'm peeing in my pants at the picture with the arrow!
I am so, so jealous. Years ago I had a camper and headed to Santa Fe and Taos every chance I got. Incredible places, hope you got to the Taos Indian Reservation, beautiful. Glad that arrow barely missed, very funny story, wonderful blog, I'll check in every day now that I know about it. Be careful, my friend, and savor every second of this new life you've jumped into.
